यथेच्छाभ्यर्थितो धाता जाग्रतोऽर्थान्हृदि स्थितान् । सोमसूर्योदयं कृत्वा सम्पादयति देहिनः ॥१॥
yathecchābhyarthito dhātā jāgrato 'rthān hṛdi sthitān | soma-sūryodayaṃ kṛtvā sampādayati dehinaḥ ||

— requested according to (one's) wish ; — the supporter (Spanda principle) ; — of the waking person ; — objects ; — in the heart ; — abiding ; — the rise of moon and sun (apāna and prāṇa) ; — having caused ; — brings about ; — for the embodied one

When entreated according to his wish, the Sustainer (Spanda), having brought about the rise of sun and moon, accomplishes for the embodied being in the waking state the objects established in his heart.
