yām avasthāṃ samālambya yad ayaṃ mama vakṣyati |
tad avaśyaṃ kariṣye 'ham iti saṅkalpya tiṣṭhati ||

The state which one assumes resolving, 'whatever this person will tell me I shall certainly do' — (that very steadiness is Spanda).
