Vijñāna Bhairava Tantra 1.19

1.19

भैरव उवाच । ऊर्ध्वे प्राणो ह्यधो जीवो विसर्गात्मा परोच्चरेत् । उत्पत्तिद्वितयस्थाने भरणाद्भरिता स्थितिः ॥१९॥

bhairava uvāca | ūrdhve prāṇo hyadho jīvo visargātmā paroccaret | utpattidvitayasthāne bharaṇād bharitā sthitiḥ

— Bhairava said ; — above is the out-breath ; — indeed ; — below is the in-breath (jīva) ; — of the nature of emission (visarga) ; — the Supreme should rise ; — in the place of the two arisings ; — from filling ; — the fullness-state (is reached)

Bhairava said: Above is prāṇa, below is jīva (apāna); the supreme rises with the form of visarga. At the place between the two arisings, by holding there comes the state of plenitude.
